Wanda McGee is the owner and President of Four Season Recycling & Trading, LLC (also known as Four Season Recycling) located in the City of Richmond, VA where she leads the purchasing, trading, processing and marketing of industrial and manufacturing scrap that can be reused or recycled. After unexpectedly losing her job of 23 years, she started her business in 2009. In April 2019, Four Season Recycling celebrated 10 years in business. Wanda started her recycling career many years ago with Reynolds Aluminum Recycling Company, driving a tractor-trailer around the State of Virginia buying aluminum cans. She was later promoted to management. After Reynolds, she was the Richmond Plant Manager for SP Recycling Corporation until 2009.
Four Season Recycling is a Virginia Certified Small, Woman-Owned business, a Micro-business and a VCU Alumni Owned business. There have been many changes in the recycling industry recently, and Four Season Recycling has adapted their business focus to meet the needs of their clients in these changing markets. She is trained in Zero Waste to Landfill requirements for business and industry to be Certified Zero Waste to Landfill.
Four Season Recycling has a recycling processing facility for industrial and commercial recycling. We are asset-based, and we also do trade in recycling commodities.
Wanda enjoys working in the city near the Historic Jackson Ward neighborhood during the week and spending her weekends in Goochland, VA on her 5-acre farm. She enjoys growing her own food, especially garlic. Animal rescue has been one of her passions, and her business has funded spaying and neutering of feral cats in the neighborhood where her recycling plant operates.
